Would you like to become a coach? The Overland Park Soccer Club relies on volunteer
coaches/parents for our recreational teams. Many new coaches organize a school team.
We recommend at least 10 players per team. Please contact us for more information!
Lee at info@opsoccerclub.org We offer training and materials for new coaches as well as
seasonal clinics to help you become a great teacher of the game!
Director of Coaching
Former Kansas City Comets pro-player, Gino Schiraldi, is the Director of Coaching for OPSC.
You will see Gino at meetings, games and clinics. He is there to offer our coaches support when
they need it. If you need recommendations for practices or games, please contact him. Gino
also observes our coaches, refs and games and offers suggestions and reports to the Board on
rule changes and ideas to improve our program.
Volunteer
The OPSC Board of Directors is always looking for members of our community to join our
Board. We are currently looking for Age Group Coordinators and Marketing Coordinator.
Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about these positions. It is a great way
to give back to the community and perfect for a person that wants to become more involved in
Kansas City soccer.
