Pre-Competitive Dragons Program 
(1st/2nd)

The OP Soccer Club Pre-Competitive program is the foundation of our club & U.S. Grassroots soccer. The Dragons Program is for all boys and girls that are in 1st or 2nd Grade. Our program is a way of introducing children, who are new to soccer or sport for the first time, without the pressure of winning at a young age. Our main focus is to educate and develop players, on and off the field, throughout the program and keep them in the sport for a very long time. We will strive to embolden your child with a positive, fun, & safe learning environment to help develop the leaders of our future both on and off the field.

 

We welcome all kids to come join us for this terrific program. All training is run by OP Soccer Club coaches that have played and coached at high levels either collegiately and/or at professional levels at domestic and international levels. Our coaches have high level knowledge of the game and are extremely passionate to help develop the Soccer Community of the future in the Greater Kansas City Area. 

 

OP Soccer Club is dedicated to ensuring that children are receiving the correct coaching instruction at an early age to develop their skills and techniques in soccer. OP Soccer Club wants the children to have consistency throughout their experience by having experienced coaches. Parents are encouraged to help and support the coaches, as it can have a positive impact for the child both on and off the field.

 

Fees: $130 (Early Bird $120 - until August 14th)

 

Fall Season will be September 2026 – October 2026 (6 weeks):

• Registration Open

• Must be in 1st or 2nd grade

• Registration closes one week before season starts

• Season begins in September

• Practice Location: Indian Woods Middle School (Tuesday Sept. 8th or Thursday, Sept. 10th (first practice))

• Season ends Saturday October 17th.

• Game Days on Saturday September 12th - October 17th, Location : Roe Park - 10400 Roe Ave, Overland Park, KS 66207

• Time Slots for Games may vary between 9 am - 12 pm
